Panovir is a useful option for patients with HCV genotype 3 infection, including those with compensated cirrhosis without the Y93H resistance-associated variant. Panovir can be safely used in people with decompensated cirrhosis, and its levels can be significantly reduced with acid-reducing agents. (1)

Indications
