Eltrombopag

Eltrombopag is used to treat low blood platelet counts. When patients have chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), chronic hepatitis C, and severe aplastic anemia. It is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist that stimulates the bone marrow to produce more platelets.
